Read me magazine...
This magazine is mainly aimed at females. As you can see, it has a picture of a couple and has a pink/purple background. This wouldn't really appeal to the male gender, so its clearly aimed at females. Its age is ranged at around 18-26.Thursday 3 November 2011

The source is an american music magazine which specifies in the genre of R&B which the same genre I am planning to make my music magazine. The typography used in the masthead in this magazine cover is sans serif. The masthead font used on this magazine cover is block white capitals which attracts the reader to the masthead of this magazine cover which is the name of the magazine this connotes that the magazine is trying to catch their readers eyes to this particular magazine with their bright white masthead.The masthead is written over the main image which in this magazine cover is Lil Wayne a R&B music artist this connotes that the brand of the magazine is more important than the main image as the masthead is over the main image on this magazine cover.
There is a selling line on this particular magazine it is located above the masthead it reads ‘whos got the juice? steriod invade hip hop. This intises the reader to pick up and buy the magazine so they can read further.
The main cover line is located in the bottom left corner of the magazine the main cover line relates to the main image, the type of typograpghy used in the main cover line is large block white lettering which is written over the main image which connotes that the main cover line is very important as the magazine brand wanted to make the main cover line very visable.
The masthead is the largest text on the front cover of the magazine towards the left of the magazine going downwards there are many cover line these stay the same in size as they move down the page. The main cover line is printed in bold white capital letters which suggests that the house style is very consistent.

This connotes that the house is ver exciting as it like to keep the reader very entertained which ever sex is reading the magazine.
